  • Despite feeling rough as hell I forced myself to get read to see The Mary Wallopers and going on tonight’s performance I made the correct decision.

From the moment the Wallopers hit the stage the audience were ready to be entertained and entertained they were. Sean McKenna was on fire tonight with his banter and the crowd lapped it up and having a laugh with it!

Anyone who hasn’t seen this Irish Rock N Roll / Celtic cross over band you wont believe in between the songs the amount of funny stuff which comes out of Sean’s mouth. The man is not only a legend but he’s as funny as hell!

Musically the Wallopers entertained and they didn’t hold back on the political commentary either attacking the rich, attacking anti-immigration brigade and general stupidity and all delivered with some top tunes!

Thee Mary Wallopers really do deliver the goods and so many people missed out on the great fun, the great music and the wise words coming out the band’s mouth.

Coming to a close on their UK tour but two more shows in London to go! Please check out their European and American dates! See below!

Support came tonight from Scottish band Brogeal who were a brilliant choice to open the gig. In fact they were that good I wish they’d have been allowed to play a little longer!

They were bang on the button and gave Wolverhampton a show and I suspect they’ll have gained more than a few fans tonight!

Many thanks to Cian Lawless for sorting out the press and photo pass. Thank you very much!
