I’d been meaning to check out Gary Numan’s live show for a couple of years but health issues had prevented that from happening!

The 2025 tour came up and despite being ill for the past two months I made the effort to get out and start snapping pictures again!

I also wanted to see what Gary Numan was up to as I hadn’t seen him live since the mid-80’s!

Last night didn’t get off to the best of starts as I awoke from a deep sleep on the train not realising the train had already pulled into Birmingham New Street train station!

Literally ran off the train with about ten seconds to spare!

After snapping some pictures at the Birmingham Xmas Market it was time to head to the 02 Academy though I did bump into Mandi Davies and Dave Jones where we had a good chat!

After having a few hassles getting in the venue I quickly sorted out my camera settings just in time for Raven Numan to hit the stage!

From the moment Raven Numan hit the stage I knew this was going to be a top set as I’d checked out a video the day before!

So much going with the electronics fusing with the goth sound and if that wasn’t enough there were other elements in the mix that have the band doing something special!

For fourty minutes Raven Numan and her band took me somewhere magical and well away from the health issues.

If you’re going to see Gary Numan on this tour then make sure you get there early for Raven Numan!

After editing some photos it was time to rush back to the camera pit to see Gary Numan and co do their stuff!

Gary Numan literally ran on the stage and for most part was like a man possessed and he certainly delivered the goods!

While I was not familiar with many of the songs it’s fair to say that they blew me away and in the morning I’d be adding to my record collection of Gary’s music!

And why not?

Gary Newman is an amazing artist and this show was second to none for sure!

I was watching Gary and his band play their hearts out and then all of a sudden Mr Numan started crying and his partner came on stage to console him!

Whatever happened I feel for you as did many in the audience!

Gary Numan was soon back with us and was back with his foot to the accelerator and the tunes were delivered in style!

I like everyone else was in awe at what was being delivered to us!

Electronica and Rock with other elements thrown in make Gary Numan stand out from the Crowd!

He really did make my night!

Soon it was time to head back to the station as two trains had already been cancelled!

Having seen Gary Numan tonight I highly recommend that others check out the tour dates and op along to see a genius and support live music!
