Fourty odd years ago I stumbled into my local record store looking for something totally new and the owner introduced me to Agnostic Front’s debut EP and Album Victim In Pain.
On playing those records I was totally blown away and purchased a copy of both releases. The speed, anger and energy drew me in big time and all these years later I still love Agnostic Front and the NYHC sound!
Roll on 2025 and Agnostic Front are set to release their eleventh studio album Echoes In Eternity!
What do I think?
Echoes In Eternity is up there with their killer debut Victim In Pain for sure. In fact this for me is the best studio album of 2025 beating off some strong competition from other bands and I don’t say that lightly!
Kicking off with the uncompromising Way Of War you are left in no doubt that Agnostic Front are back with a bang and taking no prisoners!
Roger Miret’s distinct vocals with combined killer guitars from Craig and Vinny matched with driving bass lines from Mike Gallo and kept in time with some fantastic drum work from Danny Lamagna will have you moshing the fuck out!
Just listen to Matter Of Life & Death featuring Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC my favourite track on the entire album. Agnostic Front have really stepped up here!
The rest of the album isn’t far behind with numbers such as Tears For Everyone, I Can’t Win, Evolution Of Madness and Eyes Wide Open.
Fifteen banging NYHC style tracks here from this legendary band and you’re going to love them all!
Even I was surprised that Agnostic Front could still be delivering the goods over fourty years later and I thank them for keeping it real!
On top of some great music and vocal delivery the production is top notch too!
This is one album that should be on everyone’s play list in 2025 and beyond! 10/10
