Templeton Pek hail from the West Midlands and have been doing the rounds for a few years now. Despite being sent their debut album many moons ago I only managed to catch up with these guys live at the Red Rum in Stafford as part of the Skate Punks Beach Party festival.

What do I think?

Some would call it Punk and others would call it Melodic Hardcore!

Me!

I love Savages!

From the opening moment of the title track Savages I was drawn in to this baby. I don’t say that lightly either. The savage guitar / bass lines coupled with vocal delivery on point all kept in time with a drummer who bashes his kit like his life depended on it certainly won me over!

If that wasn’t enough this album just gets better with tracks like Hurricaines, Artifact, Perfect Storm, Pioneers and the closing track Tempest you know you’re on to a winning album!

The entire album is solid from start to finish and you’re going to love it!

If not I question your judgement!

This Punk / HC trio have put their soul into this entire record and it’s up there in my top five releases of 2025!

I want a vinyl copy its that good as that will be money well spent!

A blinding album that needs to be played loud for best listening experience!
