I first came across The Rumours when they did a mini tour of England. Hailing from Iowa in the USA I was more than impressed with their high octane garage rock n roll sound as they tore Shrewsbury a new one!

When I met the band we talked about this album release and I was let wondering if their terrific live act could be captured in the studio?

Sitting here listening to a press copy of this album I can say with hand on heart that The Rumours have captured the live energy levels in the studio and this album is so worthy of a listen!

While there’s nothing ground breaking here this album is filled from start to finish with top songs that in parts remind me of Nashville Pussy. on top of all that the production is fantastic and I can safely say this is one of the best albums you’re going to hear in 2024.

Opening up with Cuntrol (U Freak) The Rumours tear it up and the energy levels are on full throttle throughout this album. Just have a listen to Gimme, Daddy’s Fool, Force Kissa, Sex and Patchouli and the awesome cover of These Boots which brings this album to an end in style!

I can’t recommend this album enough!

The Rumours and this album are the business! 9/10
