In 2007 I naively turned down a press copy of this album and until a few days ago I was sent this to review I’d never heard it! I put it down to B+C sides of records tend not to be the best but in this instance I made a mistake!

A huge mistake!

While I hesitated to hear these songs which cover Rancid’s discography from 1992-2004 I knew it had to be done!

In for a penny in for a pound and all that……

From the opening moments I was blown away and I pretty much had this record on repeat for a few days I enjoyed it that much!

I can safely say this is one of the best releases I’ve heard this year. It’s all here. The growling vocals sung along to to kick ass ska-punk tunes. Not one filler either!

There’s 24 tracks in all kicking in with Ben Zanotto then steaming in to the likes of Dead And Gone, Killing Zone, Sick Sick World and concluding with the kick ass Fuck You!

Rancid were the band that put punk rock back on the map and this record is testament to the quality of music this Bay Area punk band put out! Aside from great music there’s also a top production here!

I really can’t recommend this release enough!
