Sometimes I sit there and reflect about the music scene in the 90’s and wondered what happened to the bands. One morning a week or so ago I was wondering what happened to Travis Cut as I was playing some of their music.

There was a knock at the door and the postman dropped me off a book. I wasn’t expecting anything and eagerly opened up the envelope to find Three And A Half Minutes Of Fame in there!

On flicking through I realised this book was written by the drummer of Three And A Half Minutes, Travis Cut, NV and Jaff! I then started reading it and was that engrossed in it I forgot I had a diabetes appointment with a specialist!

Whoops!

Without wanting to give away too much this book covers Alex’ musical career from the time he was banging the drums at home right through to sharing stages with some of the biggest names in the 90’s.

Its liker a diary of the good times, bad times, relationships, alcohol, some madness inbetween and self reflection! There’s even times when he had to deal with Nazi’s – Something most who were there in the 90’s experienced too!

Don’t want to give the plot away too much but there’s some great stories as well as personal tragedy! If you were the in the 90’s you’ll get it and for all the kids out there forming bands you need to read this too!
