Rage DC I kinda missed out over these years as I had them down as a DIY thrash band for some unknown reason. In truth these guys formed in 1996 and have an 80’s punk rock feel to them with a modern touch. Imagine Contempt meets trhe UK Subs and there you have Rage DC summed up!

Albums:

Attitude And Fortitude – 2011
What You Get Is Just What You Deserve – 2015
Punk To The Bone – 2018

While there’s no stand out tracks on the albums there’s no fillers either! What you get are solid great sing-a-long punk rock numbers that are pleasuring to your ears. If I was to invest in Rage DC’s albums I’d purchase the entire discography as it’s so hard to pick out a fave album as they’re all great.

Loric the guitarist and vocalist has written some great lyrics and delivers them in style. The bass lines and drumming adds to the charm. Between them they’ve delivered and not slacked off and that to me is a decent band in the making!

I also have to mention the production on all three albums are to a pretty high standard. None of this 50p a session recordings here! You can pick everything out and for me that what’s make a decent band. So many times have I been sent poorly recorded albums but none of that with Rage DC.

So if you’re looking for a decent punk rock n roll band then I highly recommend Rage DC which I’d still have them down as a thrash band if it wasn’t for Marie Repulsive.

Go on and support Rage DC – You know it makes sense!
