I’d read all the books on Telford Child Sex Exploitation / Slavery and in 2022 Joanne Phillips wrote ‘A Girl Worth More’ offering yet another perspective on false claims that have been constantly repeated regards the issues in Telford.

This wasn’t an easy book to write and all credit to Joanne and Shannon for keeping it flowing. I was drawn into this book and once opened I couldn’t put it down again until I’d finished!

‘A Girl Worth More’ brought a tear to my eye. I didn’t think I could be shocked any more as at this point I’d read every book on women’s personal experiences of #CSE aroundf the UK. I was left gob smacked! What this woman went through would be everyone’s worst nightmare!

Joanne is an amazing woman and to come through the madness and be able to tell her story is why at Street Voice UK we have agreed that this is the best book to come out of 2022 for so many reasons!
