When the Duel said they were re-working this 2012 classic of theirs I thought they were just going to tidy up a few things but this album has been given a major overhaul in all departments.

Its the first time in my life that I’ve been able to tell you the difference between new and old! This baby sounds fantasic from start to finish and I’m so chuffed for them as a band!

For those not in the know the Duel are a punk band but the founders of this band also bring in the dance/ techo madness stuff from the 90’s but with a modern day feel. It works. It really does. This album is proof that fusion works and I love it!

As a concept this album works well with a story being told and some great music / words being delivered. ‘Invincible’, ‘Fake Like You’ and ‘When The Fire Goes Out’ are my fave songs as I write but tomorrow it could be epic tunes like ‘Love Me Do’.

I’m a huge fan of this band but rest assured there’s no bias here! If anything The Duel have to work that little bit harder with me. No easy ride here for them and that’s how it should be. Friendship is about loyalty but it’s also about honesty too!

Everything about this album is class from the music and words to the awesome gate fold sleeve, arty coloured vinyl (From the awesome Rotator Vinyl) as well as a top production. It’s an album that was epic first time around but The Duel have managed to go beyond even that!

Andy Thierum and Tara Rez take you on an amazing journey with this album and if they were American or German this would be a huge hit! Alas they’re from the UK and believe me when I say this is one of the most exciting albums this century! 10/10
