What can I say about Dirty Rockers that I haven’t said before?

A few weeks ago My mate Scott and I had never heard of the venue. We took a punt on it as we were bored with the same old pubs that were dead in Telford and Shrewsbury. It’s fair to say we hadn’t a clue about the band we had paid to see – We saw it as a live gig. Live gigs we were both missing.

On arrival at the venue everyone involved within the venue were really friendly and to be fair that had drawn us back a few times where we’re friends with everyone involved now. That’s probably down to the fact we keep the bar staff on their toes with fetching us drinks.

Rock N Roll eh?

Band wise we’ve seen Rock bands right through to a Punk covers bands. One of the bands who played consists of bassist Simon Stitch Powell who live’s in the same neck of the woods as Scott and I. Top fella!

I’ve been taking my camera to Dirty Rockers and capturing the bands and atmosphere there. Some may think that sitting at a table you can’t have a good time but you’re so wrong! I’ve actually enjoyed sitting at a table and being waited on instead of standing at a bar fighting to be served!

Dirty Rockers is a great venue and one I hope to see at full capacity when things get back to normal as like most venues times are so hard and they need your support. Maybe once this pandemic is over more people will come out again to support live music.

You wont find a better venue in the West Midlands where the sound is bang on, the atmosphere is great, alcohol prices are pub prices and staff that are fantastic people.

Much love and thanks to Faye, Mac and everyone else at Dirty Rockers for making a gig experience in these uncertain times so enjoyable.

I have everything crossed that you can open on the 2nd December.

See you soon x
